Sexual violence was perpetrated against 4 girls.
Attacks on schools (14) and hospitals (12).
110 children (46 boys, 45 girls, 19 sex unknown) were abducted.
6 incidents of the denial of humanitarian access were verified.
Current situation
While recognizing the continued efforts of the authorities to address the multifaceted security and protection challenges, the situation remained fragile and marked by attacks on civilians and child rights violations, including attacks perpetrated by groups which are currently under sanctions enacted by the Security Council.
Developments and Concerns
Encouraged by the continuation of trainings for security forces on child protection and the strengthening of accountability for perpetrators of grave violations against children.
Concern regarding the ongoing grave violations committed against children, especially the killing and maiming and abduction of children.
Concern regarding the access challenged severely hampering the monitoring and reporting of grave violations against children. Urge national authorities to allow and facilitate safe, timely and unimpeded humanitarian access.
