Developments and Concerns
- Alarming number of grave violations and number of children killed and injured, including by explosive ordnance, as well as by attacks on schools and hospitals and sexual violence in North Darfur and in the Kordofan region.
- Urge parties to adhere to the minimum age of 18 for recruitment and use in line with Sudanese laws and international standards.
- Welcome the Sudanese Armed Forces' release of 71 children.
